| X12-B Characteristics | ||||||||||||
| Beamline X12-B exploits a bending magnet source focused by a collimating mirror and a bent focusing mirrror. A channel-cut Si(111) monochromator selects Xrays in the range of 5-20 keV (2.4-0.6Å) with the resolution required for multiwavelength anomalous diffraction measurements on macromolecular crystals. While crystallography is the routine mode of operation, X12-B also supports the occasional GISAXS work. |
