The X25 MGU is part of the
NSLS Accelerator Division's Undulator Development Program |
| Mini-gap undulators are under active development in the NSLS Accelerator Division since the early 1990s. A first mini-gap in-vacuum devices resulted from a collaboration with SPring-8. Two recently constructed and nearly identical NSLS MGUs now serve in the X13 and X29 straight sections, and the MGU at X25 anticipates features of a next development step to produce a cryogenic MGU for X9. |
